Bryan Po-Jan Kuo

Dr. Po-Jan Kuo is a Clinical Assistant Instructor at the National Defense Medical Center, Taiwan. He received his DDS degree from Kaohsiung Medical University in 2009 and later completed his Certificate in Periodontology, M.S., and Ph.D. in Medical Sciences at the National Defense Medical Center. He is a Diplomate of the Taiwanese Board of Periodontology, chairperson of the committee of the Taiwan Academy of Periodontology (TAP), and also a Diplomate of the Taiwan Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (TAAD). Dr. Kuo focuses his clinical and academic work on periodontal regeneration and the management of soft tissues. He is the creator of the Partial-Full-Thickness (PFT) tunnel technique with the Supra-Crestal Sling (SCS) suture. This innovative approach enhances clinical outcomes in root coverage and papilla reconstruction. In addition to maintaining a private practice in periodontology and implantology, Dr. Kuo actively collaborates across dental disciplines to achieve optimal esthetic and functional results.
