Rebuilding What Matters: Partial-Full-Thickness Tunnel and Supra-Crestal Sling Suture for Root Coverage and Papilla Enhancement
This lecture introduces an innovative microsurgical approach that integrates the partial-full-thickness (PFT) tunnel technique with the supra-crestal sling suture (SCS) for advanced soft tissue management. Designed to address both root coverage and interdental papilla enhancement, this method offers precise flap control, tension-free coronal advancement, and optimal graft stabilization. By preserving vascular integrity and minimizing trauma, the PFT + SCS protocol enables predictable aesthetic outcomes even in challenging anatomical regions. Clinical cases and observations will be presented to highlight how this technique elevates the standard of care in periodontal and mucogingival surgery.
