Soft tissue augmentation procedures in particular the connective tissue platform technique and its modification can be successfully used to increased the apical-coronal and buccal-lingual dimensions of the edentoulus area before implant placement. The application of these techniques will be shown both in case of tooth/teeth extraction for dental and periodontal reasons
